The color is deep garnet with purple undertones. Aromas of violets, cherry, blackberry, cassis, smoke, citrus, cocoa, spices, and vanilla spill out of the glass. The wine is silky and lush with flavors of cherries, cassis, blackberry, raspberry, violets, vanilla, and toasty oak. The finish has nice length and is redolent of bright dark cherry, caramel, violets, and citrus. The wine is beautifully balanced.
