Almira 2006 Los Dos Old Vines Grenache Syrah

The wine is effusive with aromas of ripe raspberry and cherry fruit and a hint of minerality. The aromas and flavors are very pure because the wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel and is not aged in oak at all. Such elegant complexity is an unexpected treat given the other stunner of this wine -- the price. It is a tremendous value. Only 1050 cases were produced. This is one you will want to buy in case quantities.
