Mauritson 2007 Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Signature bright aromatics, supple fruit, soft mouth feel, and racy acidity. The difference is in the texture and exotic fruit component of this vintage. The 2007 Sauvignon Blanc contains nearly 30 percent of the Musque clone of Sauvignon Blanc from Grandma’s block. This clone is believed to be a hybrid of Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat. Some believe that many of the famous Sauternes wines are derived from this particular clone. The Musque clone produces wines with amazing mouth feel and complex fruit aromas yet retains the crisp acidity of traditional Sauvignon Blanc. Enjoy this wine with light appetizers, salads, and even heavier seafood entrees.
