You can find thousands of sandwiches served at millions of restaurants, but there's nothing on the planet like a famous Beef on Weck, originated in Buffalo New York.

Beef on Weck is actually an abbreviation, designed to spare people the confusion of its full name; the Roast Beef on Kummelweck.

Our sandwich starts with slices of freshly cooked beef cut from a lightly marinated roast that has been cooked to perfection. The slices are piled high on a special type of bun that isn’t available outside of Buffalo; in fact we have it made specially for us.

Piquant kummelweck (caraway) seeds and chunks of kosher salt sit atop the glazed top crust which perfectly offsets the mild flavor of the beef inside.
