Win[e]ter Olympics Rules

Nine countries and their wines are competing in our inaugural Wine Tasting Olympics. There will be a total of fifteen tasting events. Wines from three different countries will be featured at each event. Two wines from each country are poured – for a total of six wines. The wines will be tasted blind with each wine being awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals by you!

There Are Three Ways To Win!

  1. To be fun, each attendee will be assigned a “country of origin” that will be your country to root for the entire duration of the Olympics!

·        If your “country” wins an event with the highest overall medal count, you will be entitled to a free cheese plate at the next event you attend!

NOTE: You can attend all events – not just the ones featuring your country

 

  1. Every event you attend will be stamped on your passport.

·        Each “stamp” is worth 2%* off your next wine purchase.

*Stamps can be combined but cannot exceed 10% off any one purchase.

 

  1. At the end of the contest, the medal count will be totaled for each country. All members of the overall medal winning country will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card! The scoring system:

·        Gold Medal = 5 points

·        Silver Medal = 3 points

·        Bronze Medal = 1 point

NOTE: Passport application required to enter contest. Passport must be presented to receive the free cheese plate and wine discounts.
